TITLE: Love from Afar

SUMMARY: It takes a gunshot to make Mark and Roger realize their feelings for each other.

Ever since Mimi died Roger was doing drugs again. He did smack and x and weed and everything else he could think of. He was really sad and couldnt think of any way to make it better.
Roger was seeing his dealer Frank one day. He gave Frank one hundred dollars that he stole from Mark. Mark wouldn't care. Mark didn't care about anything. That's what Roger told himself. "I need all of the smack you have" he said getting mad.
Frank gave him a little bit but Roger was mad because it wasn't enough. "I need more! I need more or Im going to die!"
Frank didnt have anymore and Roger got so mad that he pulled out a gun and shot him in the chest. Then Roger shot himself.

Mark was so sad. He had been called from the emergency room because Roger was shot. Mark got there and talked to one of the nurses. "Where is Roger at? I want to talk to him! Is he okay!" The nurse nodded.
"Yes he is fine. It only scraped the skin of his skull. He is asleep right now." Mark grabbed her arms and shook her.
"Take me to him now!!!" The nurse was scared and pushed him away.
"Control yourself! I cant allow any vistors right now. He is doing very badly and I dont want to upset him. Talk to his doctor."
Mark pulled away and started crying. When had he become this thing that would hurt nurses? He had been in love Roger for years. He was okay with Roger dating Mimi because he knew that Mimi was going to die soon anyway. Losing Roger would mean Mark would have to kill himself. He knew Roger wasn't eating or sleeping. Mark even put money in his pockets for Roger to steal. It was bad but he couldn't help himself. He loved Roger too much to deny him anything.
The doctor came up then and asked what was wrong. "Are you okay?" he asked the nurse. The nurse nodded.
"I'm fine. Hes obviously very upset right now. We shold give him some medicine."
The doctor agreed and put Mark in the same room as Roger but on another bed. They gave Mark some medicine for the pain in his heart and Mark fell asleep looking at Roger on a resperator.

Roger woke up and was feeling very bad. His head hurt badly and there were loud beeping noises. "What the hell is that?" he yelled jumping up in bed and ripping some of the cords off his chest. "Where am I?"
"Roger! Calm down!" the nurse cried out when she ran into the room.
Roger began crying because he remembered what happened. The nurse hugged him to make him feel better.
When Roger stopped crying he seemed to notice the room around him. "Is that Mark? Why is Mark here? Did I shoot him to?!?!" Roger demanded feeling like someone had ripped his heart out. He loved Mark and would die if he was dead.
"No no. Your friend is fine. He went crazy when he thought you were dead and we had to give him some medicine" the nurse told him. Roger felt better because she was pumping more morphin in his arm.
"I dont want to go to sleep. I want to talk to.......... Mark......." he faded out asleep watching Mark in the bed across from him.

The nurses watched and started crying. "They are so beautiful together" the blond one said to the pretty red hair one. "I wonder if they know they are in love?"
"Something tells me they know," the red haired nurse said to her friend. "They are going to be okay. I'll be sadd to see them go."
"So will I. They were my favorite patients."
"Lets go get some coffee, Rebekah."
"Okay."

Two weeks later they were back at home. Roger was feeling akwward because he had realized his feelings for Mark in the hospital. Roger stopped taking drugs and was doing much better. He stole money out of Marks wallet but he didn't use it on drugs. He bought Mark a new bike because Mark's old one was dirty and broken.
"I bought this for you."
Mark looked at the bike and was shocked. He had thought that Roger had taken the money to pay for drugs and he had cried earlier in his room. But when he saw the bike he knew that Roger loved him too. Mark hugged his friend hard. "You did this for me?" Roger nodded.
"I did. Mark I realized something int he hospital. I.......... love you."
Mark had never been happier in his entire life. He hugged Roger even tighter and then cupped his butt playfully. "I have always oloved you, Roger. You can see it in my eyes." He pulled away to show Roger.
Roger did see the love shining in Mark's eyes and he didn't know why he had never seen it before. He kissed Mark hard and slipped his tongue in his mouth. They made out for another hour before they finally went into the bedroom.
It was the most wonderful day of both their lives and they both cried in each others arms that night. Things werent perfect but they would be soon. If they had each other.

my name is donnie and i used to be on greatestjournal until my account got deleted. i dont even no why nobody will tell me. anywaz im sychked becuz lj is gonna be soooooooo much better. and i found my favorite author of all time. hiz name is aguynamedgoo i dont know how to do that thing with the picture next to it. can someone plzzz tell me? yeah hes really cool. i want to make more friends so FRIEND ME PLZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!
